HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

One of Aroona Drilling’s core values is to ensure a safe rig. Rig safety directly impacts Aroona Drilling’s reputation, personal and corporate performance, and most importantly ensures our Team members return home safely to their loved ones.

To ensure that safety is central to all that we do, all levels of management are to support and promote processes which ensure the safety of our Team members.

All Team members have a responsibility in ensuring the safety of the workplace. Team members are to identify measures which improve the safety of what we do. Where Team members identify unsafe practices, they are to take appropriate measures to improve safety and inform their supervisor of the risk.

Aroona Drilling provides its Team members with safe working conditions and strives to protect them from potential health hazards and injuries. A risk assessment must be carried out before any potentially hazardous work is conducted.

All Team members are responsible for assessing risk, developing protective measures, understand local safety requirements and adhere to them. Examples are:

• Wearing adequate personal protective equipment when required.

• Complying with safety warning signs and alarms.

• Participating in training and observation programs.

• Reporting unsafe acts, conditions and safety risks.

Team members are required to take steps to ensure their own safety and the safety of their fellow Team members.
